Well, most advertisements I see are those that are thrown in my face - thus commercials between movies in TV, before movie in cinema, spots & banners on webpages, people giving flyers near the metro entrances, billboards near the roads... everywhere. And I don't like that.
I do agree, there are some interesting, funny, entertaining adverts, like the current US Old Spice campaing, but still the main objective of a commercial is to be repeated so much, that you'll think about that advertised product when you're shopping.
I'd actually check that airsoft deal because of the single spam mail rather then having an advert of it in every single magazine, webpage, or tv station.
