So, I was hoping to get an honest opinion from you guys on something. I'm a bit of an entrepreneur. I graduated this spring and have not been able to get a full-time job as an electrical engineer, so I'm doing some contract work and designing open-source hardware to hopefully sell in kit form sometime this year (if you haven't noticed, there has been a major resurgence in do-it-yourself, hacking, and "making" culture). I have a website, a name for my business, and, of course, a logo by which to be identified. Let it be noted that I am an engineer, and while I do consider PCB layout to be a kind of art, it does not make me qualified as a visual designer. Still, I think I did a good job, but I want your guys' honest opinion: is this a good logo?
Ideally, it appears as light lettering on a dark background, but also appears as black lettering on a white background as in the case of the invoices I send to clients.
