The premise is simple: You are in a room with four doors, one to the north, one to the south,
one to the east, and one to the west. The walls are blank. Which door do you go through?

The game starts when there's five players. (Not counting me (the GM))

A question: did we expect to be in this room? If so, how much time did we have to prepare before getting here?
I'm only asking be cause my posssessions would be different if James had a while to think and pack his gear.

No, the characters were not expecting to find themselves in the room. It really took them by surprise. As in waking up in the room having no idea where they are, how they got there, or why they're there.

Might as well start the game...

So, which way do you guys go?

@jimis

You find that your GPS unit doesn't work here for some reason.
------------------------------------------------------------
you both hear something that sounds like singing coming from the south.

You find there's a room on the other side, the same size as the first one, the most notable differences being a lack of either a north or south door, the presence of a table in northwest corner of the room, and writing on the walls that doesn't resemble any earthly language. A closer look at the table reveals there's a number of small translucent peach coloured gems cut in the shape of some strange animal you've never seen before.

I push my way into the room and pick up one of the gems, turning it around in my fingers and inspecting it.

You see that it depicts a lifeform whose body has trilateral symmetry, with three arms that end in three fingers each. It's head consists of a squat stalk which is ringed by six large eyes, and it's mouth is located at the top of said stalk. It lacks legs, instead having a three lobe "foot" projecting from the underside of it's body.

I'll take one of the Gems and let Collie sniff it.

I'll also take a photo of the Marking on the wall on my Mobile for future reference.

May i interrupt the game for a second just to say that Theodor Funke reminds me a bit of Dirk Gently? Not sure if that was intentional but it works. Cool

*Walks straight into the wall in a rather painful manner.
Rubs his bruised nose*
...I hope nobody saw that...

As discreetly as possible, I enter the room to the east and pocket the remaining gems, they could be worth something...

Not knowing who these strangers are, I go south towards the south. I click of the safety on my stungun.

Collie heads towards the south exit of the first room

@Concrete

on the other side of the door you find a creature that's a spitting image of the ones depicted by the gems. It's standing in front of a table and has the four eyes facing you closed, but as you close the door behind you, those eyes snap open. At the sight of you, the creature lets out a high-pitched scream and runs and starts cowering in a corner.

After a while of this, it moves timidly towards, and to your surprise says "You're not going to kill me?" in only slightly slurred english. You notice it had been working on carving some more of those gem statues you had saw in the other room, and it has a number of rectangluar blocks of the gemstone sitting on the table, as well as some half-finished statues. You also notice that it's hide is leathery, rugose and segemented at the joints, almost like an exo-skeleton; it's hide is mottled with various earthy shades of red, brown, yellow, and orange.

EH!? hmmm? Eh... no? What the hell are you?! Where the hell am I?! Who are these other mooks?

Lights a cigarette to calm down.
On second thought, I offer the creature one as well. What the hell am I thinking?

Do you smoke?

After staring at you for a couple seconds, the creatures responds "I am a Txuax. I don't know exactly, but I call it The Bridge Between Realities. I have no clue who those 'mooks' are."

When you ask it if it smokes, it recoils slightly and says "No! In fact, tobacco smoke is highly toxic to my species. Causes us to bleed uncontrollably from our joints. Keeps our blood from clotting as well." After it says this, you notice a yellowish-green fluid start leaking from its joints.

AW fuck!!
Quickly puts out my cigarette and starts to fan the smoke out.
Realizes it's pretty much undoable, and tries to bind the creatures wounds....

Aw, I'm sorry about this! ...you don't happen to have a first aid kit around?

"Unfortunately I don't. But I do know where to get one. We just head east, then south, then east, east again, then south. I was meaning to pick some stuff up anyways." After saying this, it begins to sway back and forth due to blood loss.

Whoa, James rushes to the rescue, either holding the creature up as best I can or propping it on my umbrella. I take a moment to make sure it is stable.

Takes a second to write down the directions, then try to lead everyone east...
Do anyone of you know any first aid?
