Zero the Dragon King

Is it just my imagination, or does it seem like quite a few "nerdy" fandoms (video game, anime, meme, internet, etc.) tend to lean rather noticeably right-wing - or, at least, towards attitudes typically associated with the right (anti-feminist, anti-SJ, anti-PC, etc.)?

Because my experiences with the internet seem to give me that impression, and it honestly makes me feel weird even liking these things (due to being both a somewhat progressive, left-leaning individual and a rather insecure, slightly paranoid individual).

Am I just crazy, or does anyone else feel it too?

well though those might be considered "right wing" you have to remember that unlike the right wing that fully embraces their extreme side (neo Nazis) the left tries to shun them and moderate them and will ridicule them a lot too. there is a person on youtube who is exactly that type of liberal person who hates the extreme end that is an example of what i am talking about called shoeonhead. go check her out and you will see what i am talking about.
